Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Night Shift | Hagerstown, MD | 13 Weeks
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Facility: Meritus Medical Center
Shift: Nights, 4x12s (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Thursday–Saturday set schedule / Every Other Weekend Coverage
Requirements
- Maryland Respiratory Therapist License required
- CRT or RRT certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Pediatric and NICU experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Clinical Experience Required
- Mechanical ventilation management
- CPAP/BiPAP setup and monitoring
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Intubation assistance and extubation
- Arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
- Bronchoscopy support
- Tracheostomy care and management
- Aerosol and nebulizer therapies
- Emergency airway management
- Patient transport
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care

- Floating required within scope of practice
- Block scheduling not available
- One RTO request allowed at submission
- Local candidates considered with facility approval

Traveler Notes
- Local radius: 50 miles
- Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 1 year
- Travelers returning after an assignment must observe a 90-day break after 1 year of service
- Orientation modules completed during onboarding
