Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Salem, Virginia.

We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a hospital in Salem, VA. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting. (Client specific requirement.)
• Ability to perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation. (Client specific requirement.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred.
• Experience with ventilator management and advanced airway procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Shift name: Nights.
