Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, days or nights
• Every other weekend requirement mandatory
• Primary placement in Labor & Delivery with NICU and PICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years experience with children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Float between NICU and Pediatric Acute Care units as needed
• Care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (for L&D placement), Indiana State License
• PALS preferred certification
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Must have L&D experience as primary unit assignment
• Level 1 adult facility experience acceptable if no recent children's hospital experience
• Skills include aerosol therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care
• Flu vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required to NICU and pediatric acute care areas
• First time travelers accepted
