Schedule:
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Open to first-time travelers with strong Pediatrics & NICU experience
- Mandatory: Strong PICU/NICU background
- Must be competent in all RRT settings, including adult patient care (ER and other units)
- Experience required with all age groups (NICU to Adult)
Licenses & Certifications:
- RRT
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
Unit Details:
- Rooms/Beds: 12
- Ratio: 1:12
- Average Daily Census: 6–7 ventilated patients
- Visits per Day: 40
Patient Population:
- Mixed age groups: NICU to Adult
Patient Care Scope:
- Critical Care Respiratory Therapy
- Coverage includes:
- Level 4 NICU
- Pediatrics
- Emergency Room
- Level 1 Trauma
- Med/Surg ICU
Equipment:
- Maquet Servo-i
- Draeger V500
- Jet Ventilation
- Oscillation
- Nitric Oxide
Floating:
- Required within specialty
- May float to other units and sister SRH facilities within scope
Additional Details:
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- On-call: Not required
