Shift:7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living<60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials:Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.Advanced practice certificate to administer moderate sedation in Bronchoscopy LabCPFT
Unit Details: Provides respiratory care including airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, arterial punctures, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations and extubations. Performs ventilator setup, monitoring, specialized ventilator modes, and weaning techniques. May perform pulmonary function testing as needed. May support pediatric and neonatal patient transport per UNC Air Care Protocol and perform advanced procedures including UAC, UVC, IV insertion, intraosseous insertion, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, ABGs, and blood glucose monitoring when working with Carolina Air Care. May manage extracorporeal circulation for cardiac and respiratory support when working with ECMO.
Shift&Scheduling: No on-call. Every other weekend. No holidays required.
