Bartlett Regional Hospital is the largest hospital in Southeast Alaska, providing comprehensive health care services, with 73 acute care beds, 16 alcohol recovery beds and 74 physicians on active staff.
We are the heart of an area with several community healthcare facilities just off Egan Drive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital. As the mainstay healthcare resource in our community, we operate on our C.A.R.E. values of Courtesy, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
Our services include emergency care, surgical, critical care, obstetrics, general medical, diagnostic imaging (mammography, CT, MRI, ultrasound and radiology), laboratory, chemo/infusion therapy, oncology, hematology, physical/occupational/speech therapy, mental health inpatient treatment, outpatient psychiatric, chemical dependency residential and outpatient treatment, and sleep studies. In addition to Juneau, Douglas, we serve Yakutat, Skagway, Haines, Sitka, Hoonah and Angoon as well as other Southeast and Alaskan communities. The primary and secondary service area has a combined population of 58,000.
BRH is a not-for-profit hospital operated as an entity of the City and Borough of Juneau with a Board responsible for the economic viability and management oversight of medical operational issues. Our hospital has a history of financial stability and net revenue is budgeted at $98 million for the upcoming fiscal year.

Bartlett participates in the City & Borough of Juneau self-insured medical program which provides for a three tier choice for employees and their families. In addition, Bartlett participates in the State of Alaska Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) as we are considered a government entity with the City and Borough of Juneau.
