The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care across a variety of clinical settings. This role includes performing diagnostic evaluations, administering therapeutic treatments, and managing both invasive and noninvasive ventilation. The therapist plays a critical role in the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring optimal respiratory outcomes and patient safety.
Conduct diagnostic testing to evaluate respiratory conditions and treatment effectiveness
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement and management of artificial airways
Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation (invasive and noninvasive)
Monitor patient response and adjust care or escalate concerns as needed
Respond to emergency situations and support airway management during resuscitation
Assist in the transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Collaborate with providers and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required
Associate Degree or vocational training required
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Full-time
Mixed shifts (Rotating weekends)

Acute care hospital
400+ bed facility
Level I trauma center with adult and pediatric services
