Incentives: Select full-time positions are eligible for up to $15,000 in commitment incentives and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance (amount based on location distance).
Salary Range: $26.59 - $44.18 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
Hours: Per Diem and Full-time available.
Locations: Opportunities are available in a variety of locations, including UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and Holly Springs, UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, UNC Health Rockingham in Eden, UNC Health Chatham in Siler City, and UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir. Summary:
Under the direction of department management and according to policies and procedures as defined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manuals, administers respiratory care procedures and treatments designed to assess, prevent, stabilize or remedy patients' respiratory dysfunction. After completion of orientation, functions independently with minimal supervision.
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT). Must be registered (CRT or RRT) within 6 months of hire. BLS on hire.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- Respiratory Therapist I: No prior experience required.
- Respiratory Therapist II: Two (2) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist required.
