NP/PA - Outpatient Oncology (Breast & Lung Health)

We have two exciting outpatient opportunities to help advance high-quality, patient centered oncology care within a multidisciplinary environment. Opportunities:

NP/PA – Outpatient Breast Surgery (Glen Mills, PA)

• The Breast Surgeons at the Helen F. Graham Cancer and Research Institute at ChristianaCare are looking for the next Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team in Delaware and be a part of our exciting and new expansion in Pennsylvania.
• The role is office-based and includes minor procedures plus autonomous clinic hours with no holidays, nights, weekends or call! Work/life balance is important to our practice and individualized expert care is a must for our patients. We intend on training the right candidate that wants to grow with our team to provide care for all types of breast issues from benign to malignant. This includes direct medical management through utilization of approved protocols and procedures. Don't miss this opportunity in working with an excellent Breast Surgery team.

NP/PA – Hematology/Oncology, Lung Health (Broomall, PA)

• ChristianaCare is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join ChristianaCare Lung Health Program at our Pennsylvania outpatient practice. The selected candidate will provide clinical management of new and established patients in an office setting in collaboration with 2 Thoracic Surgeons, 2 Interventional Pulmonologists, and 7 other Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• This Advanced Practice Provider will perform shared decision-making consultations and routine follow-up office visits, serving as a key provider within the Solitary Pulmonary Nodule and Lung Cancer Screening clinics. Within the scope of their education, training, and credentialing, the APP will evaluate, diagnose, manage, and treat patients in the outpatient setting, participate in multidisciplinary Thoracic and Solitary Pulmonary Nodule conferences, and support smoking cessation efforts as part of the Lung Cancer Screening program. The role also includes assisting with the education of students in outpatient lung health management and performing other related duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Masters’ degree from an accredited program for graduate level Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies with appropriate specialty certification
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
• 3 years of experience as a PA or NP preferred
• Oncology or surgery experience preferred
• Prescription Authority required; DEA Registration required
• BLS required (Lung Health)
• ACLS certification required (Breast Surgery)
